Richelle Johnston, RCC

Living in the West-Kootenay region for over a decade, Richelle (she/her) is an inclusive and compassionate Registered Clinical Counsellor and founder of Peach Door Counselling. She believes strongly in the power of connection and relationship as a vehicle for emotional expression and moving through difficult experiences with strength and support. Richelle offers trauma-informed care from an anti-oppressive and culturally-competent lens and is honoured to hold space for each unique client to share their story. Together, Richelle works collaboratively with her clients towards healing, maintaining empathy and gentle curiosity throughout and is passionate about depth work (IFS, parts work, inner-child work) to support lasting change.

Brittany MacCuspic, RSW

Hailing from a small coastal community in northern Nova Scotia, Brittany (she/her) is a queer, trauma-informed Registered Social Worker, offering counselling services.. She draws from a variety of compassion-based and somatic practices, utilizing a bottom-up approach to therapy that is strengths-based and forward facing. Brittany is dedicated to helping folx overcome their personal and relational challenges, and excels at motivating the unmotivated, stuck client. With a combination of educational and lived experience in the field, she has developed a deep understanding of the complexities of human behaviour and the factors that contribute to emotional distress. In session, she uses humour, relational connection, and tangible tools to make sense of what may seem nonsensical and overwhelming. Brittany is passionate about helping people who lean into maladaptive coping mechanisms and patterns find out why and make lasting change. She gets excited about clients who are committed to long-term therapy, unafraid to dive right in!

Keith Greenhalf, RCC

Keith (he/him) is a compassionate clinical counsellor with over 13 years of experience as a Learning Resource Specialist and School Counsellor. He holds a Masters Degree in Education as well as a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology.  With this experience, Keith works with adults, couples, children, teens, and families and supports a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, ADHD, autism, OCD, trauma, self-harm, and suicide-related issues. He provides individual, family, and caregiver counselling, and is dedicated to supporting those experiencing family conflict, parenting struggles, relationships ruptures, and communication challenges. Using Gottman Method principles, Keith supports couples in strengthening connection, improving communication, navigating conflict, and building healthy, resilient relationships. His professional work is informed by lived experience as a parent of two children, one of whom has autism, as well as through fostering many children and youth with his wife over the past decade. Keith also bring 13 years of experience as a volunteer firefighter and first responder; he is passionate about supporting first responders, and specialized in crisis intervention, trauma, and those impacted by working in high-stress environments. Keith builds therapeutic rapport by providing a safe, respectful, and supportive space where clients feel understood, empowered, and equipped to create meaningful and lasting change.
